Yalda Night Brings Poetry, Food, and Festivity to Azad University Dubai
The Azad University Dubai Branch celebrated Yalda Night with a lively gathering of students, staff, and guests. The event, marking the longest night of the year, was filled with poetry, delicious food, and joyful storytelling.
Hosted by Dr. Sogol Mashayekhi, the evening created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The venue was decorated with glowing candles, vibrant pomegranates, and traditional Yalda symbols, capturing the essence of this beloved celebration.
Guests enjoyed a feast of Yalda specialties, including dolme, juicy pomegranate seeds, and Persian sweets. The food brought the flavors of Persian tradition to life and delighted everyone in attendance.
